Despite Vaccine Passport Set-Backs, EU Moves Ahead With New ‘Digital ID Wallet’

Despite recent public relations setbacks to its Orwellian Vaccine Passport “Green Pass” system, technocrats in Brussels are still moving ahead with the project, albeit via the backdoor, in the form of a new “digital wallet” where citizens will supposedly receive a “greater flexibility, ideal for post-pandemic life.”
How long until they can enforce the vaccine segregation? Just wait until the next ‘pandemic’ crisis…

The EU is set to unveil detailed plans for a bloc-wide digital wallet on Wednesday following requests from member states to find a safe way for citizens to access public and private services online.
The digital wallet would securely store payment details and passwords and allow citizens from all 27 countries to log into local government websites or pay utility bills using a single recognised identity, said people with direct knowledge of the plans.
The EU-wide app, which can be accessed via fingerprint or retina scanning among other methods, will also serve as a vault where users can store official documents such as a driver’s license. Using the wallet was not compulsory, those involved said, but citizens who chose to sign up would benefit from an extra-secure digital ecosystem and greater flexibility ideal for post-pandemic life.
“The new digital ID will give every European the keys to their digital twin,” Thierry Breton, and EU commissioner in charge of digital policy, said in a speech earlier this year.
In order to protect citizens, EU officials will force a structural separation preventing companies which access user data from using it for any other commercial activity, such as marketing new products. Brussels is engaged in discussions with member states to provide guidelines on technical standards for the rollout of the digital wallet, which is expected to be fully operational in about a year.

EU Launches “Digital Wallet” In Latest Step Toward ‘Cashless Society’
Despite the concerns about digital privacy being invaded by the “vaccine passports” that Europe has demanded of travelers, the EU is pressing ahead with plans to launch a “digital wallet” that would carry digital copies of a drivers’ license and credit cards (sort of like Apple Pay does) as Europe continues its transition away from cash.
According to the FT, the EU is preparing to unveil its plans for the bloc-wide “digital wallet” on Wednesday. The product is the result of what Brussels described as several states’ demands for the EU to create a digital tool to access important records and other products and services via the smartphone.

EU officials plan to make it illegal for companies to use any data gleaned from these ‘digital passports’ for marketing or any other commercial purpose, the FT said. Brussels is engaged in discussions with member states to provide guidelines on technical standards for the rollout of the digital wallet, which is expected to be fully operational in about a year.
But here’s the bottom line: The EU digital wallet is “simple, secure and it will protect people online”, said a person with direct knowledge of the plans. “People will also have the power to decide how much information they give out while Google and others don’t let you decide what you’re giving away.”
So far, the program has seen limited interest, with only 19 member states moving to introduce the digital wallets to their citizens, and unfortunately not all of them are cross-compatible. But regulators hope that the rise in “digital literacy” driven by the pandemic will help make the “digital wallet” more popular. After all: who wants to keep carrying around all those annoying ID and credit cards?
What if, instead of carrying a wallet and a phone, we just carried a phone?

RIVERO’S Introduction makes clear that restructuring of the world into regions under the coming world government was already well underway in 1952.
That issue of a UNESCO review was hoping to find ways to facilitate the merger of nation-states (into regions). I think the mass transfer of “refugees” and the mass immigration and multiculturalism in the West are the methods they settled on. Rather than “merge” the nation-states, it appears they decided to disintegrate and eliminate them.
It must have been realized the peoples of the world’s nations would never agree to give up their identities and sovereignty to a world government. Therefore, they are being forcibly replaced and destroyed.
Here’s my guess. They are trying to get everyone on Earth under surveillance before they announce WORLD GOVERNMENT and the END OF THE NATION-STATE. People will go pretty funky when they are told their country is over, their homeland is gone, their nation recolonized. Also sounds to me like the 33rd-degree Masonic-Communist oath: “the Earth belongs to all men equally.” “All men” in the present case, meaning the survivors of population reduction by mass lethal injection.
