Canadian man living with regret, pain after sex-change surgery wants to die through euthanasia

ER Editor: We generally avoid too many of these stories indicating how brutal and manipulative the transgender program is, and how clearly harmful it is on a purely medical level. But this story runs together three cabal agendas – transgender and euthanasia on an indigenous or ‘First Nations’ man, calling himself Lois Cardinal. And where else but in Canada? It’s become an insane asylum.

From the Daily Mail article linked to below:

Doctors are more interested in finding out what pronouns she uses than easing her pain, she told DailyMail.com.

‘I’m not getting any better and nor am I experiencing better medical care, or any medical care,’ Cardinal said.

‘It’s so captured by gender ideologies, that they care more about my pronouns.’

Alas, Lois’ use of language to describe himself also shows the heavy influence of ideology on his own thought (‘a sterilized First Nations post-op transsexual’).

On the medical and psychological plight of detransitioners like Lois, we recommend checking out articles by the UK’s Ritchie Herron.

I wondered at the time whether we would see more cases like this begin to emerge as the long-term effects of sex-change surgeries began to manifest.

Unsurprisingly, the latest case of this is in Canada. “Lois” Cardinal is a male who “transitioned” at age 19 (14 years ago) to present as female. Lois now says he was pressured into the sex-change surgery by staff at a gender clinic in Edmonton, Alberta, who told him that a provincial government grant program that would fund it for him was about to end. Despite his hesitation, he was told that the opportunity to procure the procedures might vanish — and even though his initial application was denied, he went through with it.

He began to regret the surgery the moment the anesthesia wore off.

Now, “Lois” Cardinal has applied for euthanasia. Why? Because of the terrible physical pain he experiences from his surgically constructed neo-vagina and the mental anguish he endures over his decision to get castrated and “transition” he underwent in 2009.

As the Daily Mail reported:

In social media posts, Lois Cardinal, a self-proclaimed ‘sterilized First Nations post-op transsexual’ said regret over her medical transition led her to apply for a lethal injection in January. Cardinal, who lives on a native reserve near St. Paul, Alberta, posted her medical records from the request online this week to draw attention to radical gender ideology. Her case underscores the perils of Canada’s ultra-liberal healthcare system — one of the world’s most permissive for both euthanasia and affirming an individual’s chosen gender.

‘I’m in constant discomfort and pain,’ the 35-year-old told DailyMail.com. ‘It’s taking this psychological burden on me. If I’m not able to access proper medical care, I don’t want to continue to do this.’ … She told DailyMail.com that she feels constant pressure, pain and discomfort now, many years after the original surgery.

This is sadly not surprising. As a recent study highlighted long-lasting side effects, including bladder and other problems. What is more surprising is that Cardinal was turned down in his request for euthanasia, with a doctor stating that there are treatment options available that could alleviate Cardinal’s suffering. Which is certainly true — but applies equally to virtually all other euthanasia cases, and certainly applies to those with mental illness, who will qualify for euthanasia next year. Indeed, Cardinal told the Daily Mail that his request was likely denied due to the connection of his case to transgender ideology.

“I’m not getting any better and nor am I experiencing better medical care, or any medical care,” Cardinal said. “It’s so captured by gender ideologies, that they care more about my pronouns.” He is not giving up, and plans to apply once again if further medical care fails to alleviate the pain he is enduring due to his transgender surgeries. On social media, he regularly excoriates the transgender movement and industry for destroying his body — and his life. The doctor who declined his first request noted that Cardinal could always ask for a reassessment: “The patient is aware that she can contact me again for her ongoing journey for an assisted death.”

If Cardinal is approved later, we will see the horrors of Canada’s commitments to euthanasia and transgender ideology merge: A young man destroyed by sex-change surgeries pushed on him at a gender clinic suffers physical side effects and mental anguish, qualifying him for assisted suicide.

His gender dysphoria qualifies him for medical mutilation; his despair from that qualifies him for a lethal injection.

ER: And the additional component is that he’s First Nations.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
