Betrayal by French Left Coalition Over EU Health Pass Extension

ER Editor: The EU health pass had been agreed to be kept in place for one more year, until June 2023, but this past Thursday it was put to a vote in the EU Parliament. The fact that it passed by a majority wasn’t a surprise given the craziness we’ve seen by our elected representatives over the past 2 years. However, what was of interest is how your local representative in the EU Parliament (MEP) voted, especially if they’re saying one thing to the public at home and doing another in Brussels.

In France, for the recent national legislative elections, a new far-left coalition called NUPES under high-ranking freemason Jean-Luc Melenchon had been formed. As we reported, Melenchon’s coalition took a slice of votes from Macron’s party, leaving it without a majority. Of crucial interest to French people: where do his party members stand on this issue of the freedom-destroying health pass, as it will likely be re-introduced by Macron’s crowd. Are they in support of it or not?

What has transpired is that a prominent MEP of Melenchon’s party, Manon Aubrey, voted FOR the EU health pass to be extended for one more year. Then, she claimed to have made a mistake in the voting, having chosen the wrong buzzer to vote with. Nobody’s buying it. This type of excuse, however, has long been made by Melenchon himself (a mere 266 times, it appears) to be able to say one thing and do another. In fact, the whole NUPES segment to which Aubrey belongs voted for the health pass extension, as MEP Virginie Joron makes clear below.

The lesson? The Left wants you locked down, injected, and poor with your rights violated. And they will lie through their teeth about it.

Betrayal By the NUPES: Manon Aubry (LFI) votes for the one-year extension of the European Union’s Covid Certificate

On Thursday 23 June, the plenary assembly approved the agreement with the Member States providing for the extension of the European digital Covid certificate (official name of the health pass) by 12 months. And we are going to explain to you how Manon Aubry and the NUPES (ER: far left coalition of French parties) play with their constituents.

 

MEPs approved by 453 votes for, 119 against and 19 abstentions (EU citizens) and 454 votes for, 112 against and 20 abstentions (third-country nationals) the agreement concluded on 13 June, which provides for restrictions on free circulation in the EU in the event of the appearance of new variants (Editor’s note: we are therefore not close to being able to circulate freely). The current rules, which were due to expire next week, are therefore extended until June 30, 2023.

The NUPES fools its voters

While all the deputies of Marine Le Pen (RN) voted against, as well as François-Xavier Bellamy (ER: centre-right party called Les Republicains, normally globalist)… on the side of the NUPES it is another story. Indeed – as editorialist Patrick Edery points out – Manon Aubry (LFI) asked her group to vote for the extension… then claimed to have made a mistake. In an attempt to escape the anger of her constituents, she used a document to justify the rectification and thus made believe that everything was back to normal. Except that the deputy of La France Insoumise is dishonest and literally makes fun of her voters – just like Leïla Chaibi (LFI) who also voted for. Manon Aubry is lying to them straight in the eye, since “vote corrections” can be reported by an MEP to be included on the list of results. However, as the European Parliament plenary guide points out, this is purely symbolic, as it does not change the outcome of the ballot. Only the initial vote is taken into account, the rectification is worthless.

The first vote (the one that counts) is in favor of the pharmaceutical industry lobbies. The second rectification vote (not counted but displayed) is to fool voters. Result of the races: the NUPES voted the one-year extension of the EU Covid Certificate. The attitude of the LFI group is unacceptable, this double game hides interests other than those of the people.

Remember that Jean-Luc Mélenchon is a regular at this manipulation because the latter has slipped on the wrong button 266 times and each time he will explain that he was wrong.

Annoyed by the situation, RN deputy Virginie Joron wants to warn the French of the duplicity of the NUPES camps before the next votes in the National Assembly concerning the Vaccinal Pass.

Translation: This morning many feel betrayed by the #Nupes but it was necessary to clarify this duplicity especially before the next votes in the National Assembly. No, there is no technical error by #LFI: they voted AGAINST our amendment rejecting the extension of the Pass!

Aware for hypocrisy: the European Commission decides who has the right to free movement

Rapporteur  Juan Fernando López Aguilar (S&D, ES) said: “Given the unpredictable evolution of the virus, Parliament has extended the application of the certificate for a year, in order to guarantee citizens the right to move freely within the within the EU.
