At Last! French Healthcare Workers Get Reinstated

ER Editor: Finally some sanity has prevailed in this sometimes cruel country. France has been notably the last, or one of the last countries, to reinstate their non-vaccinated healthcare workers. Now, a vote by French deputies yesterday has OVERTURNED THE LAW to mandate vaccination for healthcare workers, and not simply be suspended as the government wished according to some flimsy decree. The next fight may be for compensation, which was rejected at this vote.

Marine Le Pen’s party can take some credit here. There have been vicious attempts to oppose any sensible position she or her party might take toward the healthcare workers or anything or anyone else. Such is the nasty politicking in France at the expense of the people. Le Pen did put forward an amendment for compensation but it was rejected.

It’s easy to forget that there are overseas French territories who have suffered enormously as a result of French government decisions, including mandatory vaccination of healthcare workers. It is a French Guianan MP, Communist Jean-Victor Castor, who put forward this bill (pictured below in the France Soir article).

Of course, the elephants in the room – the hideousness of this genetic injection, the side effects and deaths, and the tyranny and lies perpetrated throughout this entire period – still remain. We have hope. This is the toe in the water.

Some tweets:

Translation: JUSTICE FOR SUSPENDED CAREGIVERS! The law on mandatory vaccination is repealed!💪 And the Minister of Health François Braun is sorry about it!🤢 The mainstream media will cover up this huge victory so RT en masse!

Translation: At the exit of the National Assembly the emotion of the #SuspendedCaregivers who attended the vote of the repeal of the vaccine obligation they are in tears😢 they are waiting for the indemnification and apology, they share cakes and enjoy this victory #Senate send…

Doctor and Senator Alain Houpert has been a voice of sanity throughout this 3 year ordeal. He takes to task the gross reaction of the Minister of Health, Francois Braun (this is the THIRD health minister since Covid kick-off and lockdown in 2020):

Translation: After announcing 15 days ago, the reinstatement of the suspended caregivers, the minister denounces the vote of the AN (ER: Parliament) which ratifies his decision. This is incomprehensible. Are we to conclude that it was only a com operation aiming at appeasing the anger, without sincerity?

Health Minister’s original remarks: Translation – Conspiracy trumped science in the Assembly debates. Vaccination is a weapon of mass protection, but the opponents decided to send an unfortunate message to caregivers. Thanks to the presidential majority for staying true to its values.

Caroline Parmentier is one of Marine Le Pen’s deputies:

Translation: Victory for the suspended caregivers! Thanks to the RN (Marine Le Pen’s party) and our votes, the reinstatement of the caregivers is voted and does not depend only on the goodwill by decree of the government!

Sebastien Chenu is one of Marine Le Pen’s deputies:

Translation: In accordance with the presidential commitment of @MLP_official, the group @groupeRN_off voted for the reinstatement of caregivers suspended since the health crisis.

The repeal of the vaccination obligation adopted at first reading, without financial compensation for the suspended

LAURIANE BERNARD for FRANCE SOIR

This Thursday, May 4, the National Assembly adopted the bill to repeal the obligation to vaccinate against Covid-19 in the medical sector. The amendments concerning the financial compensation of the suspended carers were, however, rejected. This bill must now be sent to the Senate.

The Minister of Health, François Braun, recently announced that non-vaccinated caregivers would soon be reinstated in their role. The publication of a decree to this effect is scheduled for May 14. The communist group nevertheless wished to table a  bill  aimed at repealing the vaccination obligation for nursing and similar personnel.

The repeal voted by the majority of the National Assembly

Article 1 of this proposal relates to the outright repeal of the law of August 5, 2021. The rapporteur for the text, Jean-Victor Castor (Communist Group), recalled at the start of the vote the usefulness of going through a such a mechanism: “ it is indeed the Parliament which controls the action of the government, and not the reverse“. The purpose of this article is not to return to the vaccination obligation by the sole will of the executive. To which the Minister of Health, François Braun, replied: “ Let us not deprive ourselves of protection against a new pandemic which will not fail to arrive”.

In fact, few MPs were found to vote against repeal. The parliamentarians Jean-Fançois Rousset (Renaissance – Macron’s renamed party), Philippe Vigier (MoDem) and Frédéric Valletoux (Horizons) took the floor to express their opposition. (ER: No doubt, a black list of these people will be formed and circulated widely.)

Their argument sought to turn against him the remarks made by Fabien Roussel, communist deputy, guest of 8:30 franceinfo the same morning. According to Jean-François Rousset, Fabien Roussel allegedly said that if the government provided a number of guarantees to caregivers suspended by decree, the bill tabled by his group could be withdrawn. The Renaissance deputy therefore expected the communist group to withdraw the text, since the government, according to him, provided such guarantees (without specifying which ones).

For Philippe Vigier (MoDem), the next government decree would certainly provide sufficient protection to suspended staff. The proof, the latter would benefit from “ a medical visit to better welcome them in the services ”. “ At no time in the Bill did you set the conditions for the reinstatement of these personnel, in particular on their state of health”, specified the deputy.

The repeal of the law of August 5, 2021 was finally adopted, but apparently, for many parliamentarians, the question of financial compensation for suspended caregivers is not a subject.

We are not going to “ pay the fines of those who run red lights

The RN group (ER: Marine Le Pen’s party) tabled two amendments in order to “examine the possibility of compensation for the damage caused to these professionals, the possible solutions to compensate for the impact of this period as well as the validation of certain quarters of retirement“. These proposals also dealt with the compensation of students prevented from continuing their studies in the medical sector.

The two amendments received a favorable opinion from the rapporteur Jean-Victor Castor, which aroused the indignation of the Minister of Health: “the  image of a communist deputy who issues a favorable opinion in favor of the RN concerns me”. (ER: Because, hey, no respectable minister or representative of the people could EVER support Marine Le Pen. Such is the ridiculous thinking of the French political class, even if ordinary people get hurt.)

What message is sent to the French with this amendment? I do not believe that it is up to national solidarity to pay compensation for professionals who have deliberately evaded a legal and ethical obligation. I have no doubt that tomorrow you will offer to pay the fines of those who run red lights!“, he was offended.

MP Bruno Milliene (Renaissance – Macron’s party) was scandalized by the fact that La France Insoumise “grants RNs the status of deputies by voting for one of their amendments”.

The question of financial compensation for suspended nursing staff (and similar) was rejected by a majority of deputies. The text as a whole was nevertheless adopted, with 157 votes in favour.

Adopted at first reading by the National Assembly, it must now go to the Senate.

France-Soir was on site and collected the testimony of deputies, caregivers and groups of caregivers.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
