ER Editor: The French state likes to intimidate – it’s the culture; and French people feel afraid in turn.
During the Covid period, others were summarily carted off to police stations early in the morning such as Virginie de Araujo Rechhia, a lawyer working for Reiner Fuellmich, and independent journalist Eric Verhaeghe. These happened in 2022. In late 2020 retired French scientist Jean-Bernard Fourtillan was taken to a psychiatric hospital and later rescued by a team of allies. He had appeared in a famous documentary Hold Up, showing the Rothschild connection to the patent for Covid / SARS-CoV-2.
A retired French pharmacist and published author against vaccination in general, Serge Rader, took a trip to one of France’s overseas territories and ‘died of Covid’ in 2021. Apparently, he didn’t know about ivermectin despite being a pharmacist. We can only find one book of his on Amazon, yet there used to be many. He, too, was in the film Hold Up. He was 68. There are probably many others.
Outspoken lawyer and blogger Regis de Castelnau is one of the latest round of people being taken in for police questioning. Others are named below.
A reminder of a disturbing death we reported on two weeks ago. Former French military intelligence officer and founder of a geopolitical think-tank, Éric Denécé, was found dead despite being an otherwise healthy 62 year old. This follows on from other suspicious deaths in the intelligence services and military, discussed in the article. Denécé, like de Castelnau, was similarly unafraid to weigh in on the big issues of the day —

Translation: Heartfelt thanks to those who, so numerous, have assured me of their support. This adds value to what I’ve been doing for a few years. The recognition and gratitude expressed compel me to continue. We must keep challenging this system and this use of gag procedures meant to intimidate. With you, I will do my part. I’ve been able to review some of the case details. And I’m already in a position to provide some explanations, which I’ve outlined in this video. I’ve already been invited to certain media outlets in the reinfo sphere. And I invite you to refer to them as well. It’s essential to fight against these people who blatantly mix arrogance, indecency, and greed. STAY TUNED! Because I’ll keep you updated on what follows.
Lawyer Régis de Castelnau under investigation: The crackdown accelerates
Régis de Castelnau, lawyer and free voice of dissent, has just been indicted, further proof of the repression orchestrated by the Macron regime against those who dare to challenge the globalist orthodoxy. In a message published on X on June 24, 2025, he assumes responsibility for his battles for France, from the Gilets jaunes to Gaza, via Ukraine, while promising never to be silent.
This case is part of a black series, following the GLAT (Groupe de lutte antiterroriste) hearing of Youssef Hindi and the GIPN (specialized French police) raid on Pierre Jovanovic’s home.
LE MEDIA EN 4-4-2
A man hounded for his ideas
Régis de Castelnau makes no secret of the fact that he “had it coming”: criticizing French policy in the Ukraine, denouncing the carnage in Gaza that has become genocide, and criticizing Macron’s illiberal liberalism and the media’s Russophobic propaganda – all reasons to irritate the “belles âmes” (ER: good souls) of the powers that be. This indictment, announced with a notice from the Paris Judicial Court, is part of a witch-hunt against patriots who refuse to bend.
At home, he is sometimes asked to stop “bawling”, but his reply is as defiant as a challenge: “I’ll stop when I’m dead. And even then, it’s not certain!” A determination that honors his French resistance.
Translation: And there you have it! It had to happen! Here I am, under investigation. Well, I must say I brought it on myself, constantly saying that France was on the wrong track in Ukraine, speaking out from day one against the carnage in Gaza that’s turned into genocide, and relentlessly criticizing Macron—it was bound to ruffle some feathers among the tender-hearted. In my place, people sometimes get fed up and ask me how long I’m going to keep shouting. For the yellow vests, against Macron and his freedom-killing illiberalism, against the delusional Russophobic propaganda of the media system, in support of the Palestinian people facing horror. I dodge it with this quip: “I’ll stop when I’m dead. And even then, it’s not guaranteed!” I just received the notice of investigation. I’m going to look into the details of this case and, of course, I’ll keep you informed about the specifics and what’s at stake. See you soon.
Serial repression
This is not an isolated case. In May 2025, Youssef Hindi, historian and essayist, was summoned by the anti-terrorist police under obscure conditions, an intimidation denounced as an attack on freedom of expression. A few weeks earlier, in March 2025, Pierre Jovanovic, a daring journalist and author, suffered a heavy-handed raid by the GIPN at his home, aimed at silencing him over his critical investigations. These cases, like that of de Castelnau, reveal a justice system that systematically crushes those who oppose the official narrative, whether in Ukraine, Gaza (more than 40,000 deaths since October 2023, according to the UN), or Macron’s excesses.
A symbol of freedom scorned
This indictment, which he promises to clarify with his supporters, is a clear warning: any alternative discourse is criminalized under Macron. His stances, from defending the Gilets jaunes – crushed by more than 11,000 arrests between 2018 and 2020 – to his support for the Palestinian people, disturb a media system under orders. Like Youssef Hindi and Pierre Jovanovic, Régis de Castelnau is paying the price of his freedom, a persecution that reminds us that we are sinking into a dark period of a France under surveillance.
A call for patriotic mobilization
At Média en 4-4-2, we salute Régis de Castelnau’s courage in the face of this intimidation, just as we did for Youssef Hindi and Pierre Jovanovic. His indictment is not the end of the matter, but a signal to all alert French citizens that the regime is stifling freedom of expression to protect its globalist interests. We urgently need to support these men who carry the voice of sovereignty and truth. As he says, “see you soon” – and we’ll be there to amplify their fight against this dictatorship disguised as democracy.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
