Informal meeting of European Union Defense Ministers, 7th and 8th in Stockholm. From left to right: Pål Jonson, Swedish Defense Minister, Jens Stoltenberg (non-EU member, but the only important one since he is Secretary General of NATO), and Josep Borell, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

The Defense Ministers of the 27 European countries, meeting in Stockholm, approved the plan – presented by Josep Borrell, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy – for “the joint purchase of large-scale ammunition caliber”. The Ukrainian Minister of Defense (while Ukraine is not part of the EU), who participated in the meeting. He “explained Ukraine’s military requirements”. Borrell said, “We are in times of war and we have to have, sorry to say (sic), a mentality of war.” He then illustrated the Plan, which foresees three phases:

1) Draw artillery projectiles, in particular 155 mm, from the reserves of EU member states and immediately supply them to Ukraine. The money comes from the “European Peace Facility” (EPF) fund, which has already earmarked 3.6 billion euros for this purpose (paid by European citizens).

2) Achieve an Agreement between the 27 EU Member States for the joint purchase of 155 mm projectiles (by the EU Defense Agency, ndt), by signing the first contracts for a period of seven years. This is a “massive order” both to program and increase national reserves and to guarantee supplies to Ukraine.

3) Ensure the long-term increase in ammunition production in Europe, supporting the defense industry to guarantee supplies to Ukraine over the long term. (The EU plans to supply it with about a million artillery projectiles).

ER: Artillery projectiles? It’s clear to us as non-military people that all this will achieve nothing except to drain EU taxpayer coffers even more and feed the defense industry. Hypersonic-supplied Russia, whose arms-production is currently ramped up, must be surely laughing. It’s just an excuse for a massive transfer of taxpayer money.

Borrell further communicated that “by the end of March, our Military Assistance Mission will have trained more than 11,000 Ukrainian soldiers. By the end of the year, we expect to have trained 30,000”. For support to Ukraine, the EU has allocated 18 billion euros (still paid by European citizens).

Josep Borrell summed up the objective of the Plan with these words: “To win the peace, Ukraine must win the war. And that is why we must continue to support Ukraine: to win peace”. The European Union is thus openly going to war against Russia as part of the always dangerous USA-NATO strategy.

ER: We reiterate – it’s a movie, folks.

In Moscow, the assassination of Konstantin Malofeev, managing director of the Tsargrad group, was foiled. This is the same type of attack by a bomb planted under the car as the one by which the journalist Daria Douguine was assassinated in August 2022. It is part of a series of terrorist attacks against journalists and officials of Russian media, carried out by the Ukrainian secret services under the direction of the USA and NATO.
