Why Does Trump Want Greenland and Canada?

.

ER Editor: Seasoned readers know that nothing ever comes down to one single man, but ‘Trump’ is the convenient label for all things shocking and controversial. Everything we’re publishing on regroupings of countries, with Russia possibly taking over the European space, should be understood in that light, we believe. In fact, this all may have already happened on some level.

Seasoned readers also know that Trump (as CIC, with ‘Biden’ as the front guy) and Putin never stopped talking. Trump admitted it was his second term in office. Now he has his third.

Greenland’s Pro-Independence Election Winners Brush Back Trump, Who Asserts Annexation By US “Will Happen”

Former Dutch PM ‘Rutte’ of NATO (does it even exist?) is cautiously agreeing with Trump’s casually delivered ‘well, I haven’t given it much thought’ justification for annexation, i.e. creating security for the Arctic region. Priceless. While the newly elected pro-independence party in Greenland is vigorously asserting itself against Tyrant Trump. And we’re going to say ‘Trump’ at this point.  Grab the popcorn. Worth watching. Very smoothly done —

Why Does Trump Want Greenland and Canada?

Trump said today that he believes the US will acquire Greenland, and continues to offer Canada statehood.

This happening during the negotiations with Russia is not random (ER: a very useful point). Russia confirmed their talks with the US were not just about the war in Ukraine, but also the relationship between the US and Russia moving forward.

Trump also said today that control of Greenland and Canada is necessary for “national and international security”.

Trump seems to believe the Arctic region will be of extreme geopolitical interest in the coming years. The arctic could be valuable not just for defensive/military purposes, but in terms of managing maritime trade routes, and potentially even upping direct trade with Russia after normalizing relations.

I’m not 100% sure what Trump is up to or what his overall all objective is with the Arctic (ER: neither are we), but it is all connected with the negotiations with Russia. This is also connected to Trump’s desire to take back control of the Panama Canal. Trump is positioning for control of maritime trade routes and shuffling the global economic order.

Whatever Trump is up to, it’s big.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
