US Strike Group arrives in Eastern Mediterranean as ‘strong signal of deterrence’ – 2nd one in place

ER Editor:  UPDATE – Oct. 14 —

What you need to know about carrier strike groups as U.S. sends second amid Gaza war

****

The USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group is already in the Mediterranean according to many reports. Ellen Mitchell of The Hill lists what that strike group contains below.

This report is causing consternation in some quarters, especially those concerned about the fate of the Palestinians facing US military might (in addition to tiny Israel’s outsized military capabilities), which has long been deployed for any and every hostile cause that Israel and US Zionist forces demand.

You know, those dual-passport holders within the US, the same ones behind 9/11 getting the US into seven wars in five years as per Wesley Clark. Is the US STILL sending $13 million PER DAY to Israel? Was there ever any justice for the dead on the USS Liberty?

We are keen watchers of former US military veteran Derek Johnson, who posted this remark on his Telegram channel for Oct 11, 2023

What are the odds Actor “Joe Biden” using phrase: “deter any actor” from region?

Johnson’s output is rather prolific and very detailed on the subject of presidential Executive Orders (EO), Federal Continuity Directives, and other laws and military regulations passed since before and during Trump’s first presidential term. This was presented in one-shot form by Nick Alvear in his recent documentary, The Greatest Show on Earth. We urge readers to get some familiarity with this if they haven’t already.

One of Johnson’s key points is that key EOs put in place by Trump have been RENEWED by actor Biden, which run until 2024. That Trump is Commander-in-Chief and that legally invoked national emergencies, permitting certain types of unusual actions, can be responded to according to the directives of the CIC. In other words, Biden &Co. aren’t in charge of this military response (or others for that matter). It isn’t business as usual.

Real Raw News picked up this strike carrier story a few days ago. We’re not sure exactly how accurate this story is, but it does back up the ‘Biden isn’t in charge of this’ interpretation. We are assured by reliable sources that RRN gives us a broad indication of what is actually going on. See

Carrier Strike Group Drops Anchor; Defies Biden Regime!

Is the strike carrier group there to deter forces HOSTILE TO ISRAEL (typical view), or to deter the trigger happy element of the Israel military against the Palestinians?

Israel is a cabal stronghold, as is Ukraine and Taiwan.

The world cannot move peaceably forward with a couple of million people trapped behind a wall.

US Strike Group arrives in Eastern Mediterranean as ‘strong signal of deterrence’

ELLEN MITCHELL of THE HILL

The USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group has arrived in the eastern Mediterranean Sea to “deter any actor” looking to escalate or widen the conflict between Israel and Hamas, the Biden administration announced Tuesday.

The forces include the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford; its eight squadrons of attack and support aircraft; the Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser USS Normandy; and the Arleigh-Burke class guided missile destroyers USS Thomas Hudner, USS Ramage, USS Carney and USS Roosevelt, according to a Pentagon statement.

In addition, Washington has moved U.S. Air Force F-15s, F-16s and A-10s “to augment existing fighter squadrons in the region.”

“The arrival of these highly capable forces to the region is a strong signal of deterrence should any actor hostile to Israel consider trying to take advantage of this situation,” U.S. Central Command head Gen. Michael “Erik” Kurilla said in a statement.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin first announced Sunday that the U.S. carrier strike group had moved closer to Israel in response to the Palestinian militant group Hamas launching a major attack on Israel.

Politico reported Tuesday that the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, which was previously scheduled to deploy from Norfolk, Va., may join the USS Gerald R. Ford in the eastern Mediterranean.

In a coordinated surprise attack that began Saturday, Hamas sent forces into multiple Israeli towns by land and sea and struck multiple targets with rockets.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
