Russia launches terrorism probe into US and NATO officials

Moscow Accuses Hunter Biden-Linked Company Burisma Of Financing Terror Attacks

On the Burisma-Biden connection —

Just like with US media over the past several years, Burisma has been featured prominently in Russian state media reporting. Below is the precise section from Tuesday’s official statement naming Burisma (according to machine translation):

It has been established that funds received through commercial organizations, in particular, the oil and gas company Burisma Holdings, operating in Ukraine, have been used in recent years to carry out terrorist acts in the Russian Federation, as well as beyond its borders in order to eliminate prominent political and public figures and causing economic damage. —Russian Investigative Committee

This marks a first over the course of the more than two year long Russia-Ukraine war. Recently, Ukraine has stepped up its cross-border drone and missile attack on Russian soil. Moscow has all along complained that these attacks are sophisticated and long-range enough (with long-range attacks especially wreaking havoc on Russian oil facilities) that they must have CIA or Western intelligence help. …

It appears that the Kremlin is now not just pointing the finger at Western governments, but at commercial entities within Ukraine which have long established Western business ties. It seems the theory is that companies like Burisma are continuing to play a ‘middle man’ role in term of ‘terror financing’ for attacks on Russian soil.

Russia opens ‘financing terrorism’ probe implicating Western countries

PRESS TV

Moscow says it has opened a criminal case on the suspected involvement of Western officials in “financing terrorism” in Russia.

Russian Investigative Committee said on Tuesday that funds received by some US firms in Ukraine over recent years have been used to carry out terrorist acts inside the country.

Moscow’s Investigative Committee said it was “investigating the sources of income” worth millions of dollars and the “involvement of specific individuals from government officials and public commercial organizations of Western countries.”

It cited among the suspected companies, the oil and gas firm Burisma Holding which has employed the US president’s son, Hunter Biden.

“It has been established that financial funds received through commercial organisations, including the oil and gas company Burisma Holding, working in Ukraine over recent years were used to carry out terrorist acts inside Russia,” the committee said.

It said the investigation was working to establish “links of the direct perpetrators of terrorist acts with their foreign curators, organisations and sponsors.”

The committee said such funding has been used to eliminate prominent political figures inside and outside the country.

Russian investigators are also establishing connections between the perpetrators of terrorist acts with their foreign backers.

Russia has accused Ukraine and the West of involvement in last month’s attack on a concert hall near Moscow that left 144 people dead.

This comes as Republicans have accused US President Joe Biden of using his influence to help his son in his business dealings in Ukraine.

Joe and Hunter Biden claim that they did not do anything illegal.

According to a report, the social media sided with the Washington establishment to suppress negative reports about Biden’s son Hunter ahead of the 2020 election.

In December 2022, Elon Musk released what he called the “Twitter Files”, delving into the company’s decision to block the Hunter Biden laptop story.

The posts focused on the controversy surrounding Biden’s son Hunter Biden and Twitter’s reaction limiting the spread of posts about it.

It was billed as a bombshell that exposed how Twitter engaged in “free speech suppression” in the critical run-up to the 2020 election.

Former US President Donald Trump called for the termination of the Constitution’s rules regarding elections to overturn the results of the disputed 2020 presidential election.

Trump previously accused Twitter and Facebook of helping Biden to win the controversial 2020 election.

The New York Post published a story in October 2020, less than a month before Election Day, alleging that Hunter Biden used his influence to connect a Ukrainian businessman with his father while he was serving as vice president.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
