ER Editor: The 1st of May yesterday saw demonstrations across France. As expected, of course, but this is all being done amid maximum frustration against Macron, and the uselessness and corruption of the French government in general. We joined one, which was a civilized affair with its own security personnel. However, other Paris demonstrations were far different.
In the context of around 50 or so riot police charging people on one Paris street (shown in a couple of videos below), covered obsessively by the French MSM in the evening, a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the crowd of police, setting one on fire (see featured image). While it’s not clear what happened to the cop, the MSM couldn’t stop talking about this, instead of why people were willing to go to such lengths in a protest march in the first place. Alas, RT France was shut down as of April 7; this site would have provided solid, in-depth video coverage of the various protests, especially in Paris.
The govt. is pitching the attendance number overall at under or around a million; one of the major unions, CGT, has put overall participation at 2.3 million. The latter figure is probably closer to the truth, such is the feeling in France currently. The first day of the Yellow Vests protests, November 17, 2018, had a 1.2 million attendance according to several police unions at the time (MSM said it was a mere 220 thousand nationwide).
RT (English) picked up the story —

We’re offering tweets and video clips to give a sense of the day. Two short videos are at the end.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)

Yeah, I think the big realization for people (who are awake) is that we must do it ourselves.
The new situation this year is that the People no longer wait for the trade unions “heads” and organize themselves everywhere.
