So far, it seems that reusable masks provided by UBI Solutions, creators of track and trace technology, to certain unnamed companies have microchips in them which, harmlessly of course, can be hooked up to an app via a smartphone to indicate how many washings the mask can go through. No, seriously. This company also makes hospital bedsheets equipped in similar fashion. It’s not yet known how many workers are being given this type of mask, according to RT. UBI Solutions appears to be a French company.
