Covid-19: A Large Majority of French Have No Intention of Being Vaccinated – Survey

ER Editor: We’re linking directly to the Ipsos poll on vaccination intentions of the public, conducted in October and published on Nov 5, 2020 titled COVID-19 vaccination intent is decreasing globally. Note that this survey was conducted IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM. The survey involved 18,000+ people in 15 countries (see image below).

France is known to be a vaccine-hesitant country, as the report indicates below. Now on our MSM, we have Paris’ great and good sitting in judgement on the rest of us, advising that vaccination should be obligatory, which currently contravenes French law we believe. These people are notably from the left and/or globalist.

Given the falsification of data over the entire Covid debacle (classification of deaths as covid when they’re not; a ‘casedemic’ produced by mass testing using the unfit PCR test; paying hospitals/doctors to list patients & deaths as covid; flu cases currently not reported at all by WHO, PHE and CDC), and given the utter nonsense of polling when it comes to the US presidential elections in both 2016 and 2020, WE WOULDN’T BE AT ALL SURPRISED TO FIND THAT THESE DATA HAVE BEEN ‘OPTIMIZED’. Kind of like the Dominion Voting System.

The article below refers to a 2nd poll of exclusively French people by Odoxa on November 12. From Le Figaro’s reporting of it (MSM alert), 60% are opposed to mandatory vaccination; 38% are favorable to it (9% very, 29% somewhat). Further, one in 6 French declare themselves to be ‘anti-vaccine’ or 17%. Another cause for optimism is that only 52% would take their doctor’s advice to get vaccinated, whereas a rather large 31% would prefer to get their information from another source first. In other words, almost a third of the population would not trust advice from their doctor.

The report below carries an MSM alert.

COVID-19: A Large Majority of French People Have No Intention of Being Vaccinated According to a Survey

ALEXANDRA G.

A few hours after Pfizer announced a vaccine that was “90% effective”, a recent Ipsos poll says that nearly half of the French would not consider getting vaccinated if they had the chance. Side effects related to hasty clinical trials are the main factors of mistrust identified. Another survey, published Thursday, November 12, indicates that only 14% of the French have the firm intention to be vaccinated.

.
If the prospect of a vaccine is getting closer, will it still be used by the French? This is precisely the question that a survey conducted by the Ipsos institute and published Thursday, November 5, tried to answer. Barely 24 hours after the announcement of a candidate vaccine against the coronavirus that would be “90% effective” according to its creator, the Pfizer laboratory, more is needed to convince the French of the merits of a possible treatment.

And for good reason: in France, only 54% of the population intends to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Earlier in the year, when the prospects for vaccine delivery were even more uncertain, 59 percent of those polled wanted the vaccine. Today, the French are the most fearful of the vaccine’s arrival in the world.

Indeed, the Ipsos study shows that France is clearly the country with the lowest ranking of people who are in favor of the vaccine. When faced with the statement “if a vaccine against Covid-19 were available, I would get vaccinated”, India and China come out on top, with 87% and 85 percent of respondents saying they “totally agree” or “rather agree” respectively. In comparison, among our European neighbors, Italians (65%) and Spaniards (64%) are the most skeptical on this subject, far behind Germany (69%) and the United Kingdom (79%).

This Thursday, November 12, 2020, another survey conducted by Odoxa for Franceinfo and Le Figaro also inclines in this direction. Even more significant, the results of the Odoxa study indicate that barely 14% of respondents intend to be vaccinated “with certainty”. Also, 60% of the French people surveyed said they were opposed to the obligation to be vaccinated.

But then, how can we explain the mistrust around a vaccine as a French characteristic? According to Etienne Mercier, director of the opinion company questioned on BFMTV, “there is a mistrust towards vaccination, which has always existed, but which is particularly strong there”. To top it all off, in Pasteur’s country! In concrete terms, the Ipsos study expects that 32% of French people opposed to the vaccine are worried about side effects. Also, 35% believe that the clinical trials have been too hasty, which reinforces the concern.

For the scientific director of the Institut Pasteur, interviewed by franceinfo for the publication of the survey, this mistrust is also explained by the lack of transparency in government communication on this subject. “We will not be able to thwart this pandemic if there is not strong public support and therefore transparent communication on what vaccines are offered to the population and the possible risks,” he explains.

To this, we can add the great plurality of “anti-vaccine” talk that find a certain echo in France. Especially when political figures like Yannick Jadot, president of Europe-Ecology Greens, explicitly demand that the vaccine be made “compulsory”. Enough to fuel the most smoky conspiracy theories…

The Ipsos survey was conducted from 8 to 13 October 2020 via the Internet among 18,526 adults aged 16 to 74 from 15 different countries, including France.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
