Blow to Online Privacy – EU Seizes on Vienna Attack to Enact Long-Desired Encryption Ban

ER Editor: So they’ve cherry-picked the latest ‘terrorist’ attack in Austria to justify this attack on end-to-end encryption.

We remind readers of the various terrorist attacks on French soil since the last week of September, through October, JUST AS various curfews and lockdowns were on the verge of beginning. Two of these attacks involved ‘decapitations’ according to the media, which were in fact victims getting their throats slit. Upping the ante, upping the shock value. All to distract the rolling news from the horrendous attacks on our liberties for a relatively harmless virus and the public protests that have taken place. As far as we can judge, the attack on online liberty is the second major ‘benefit’ for the Establishment of the allu akhbar crowd suddenly being unleashed once again.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
