In this particular case, there is the predictable silence. LFI is the far left French political party led by Jean-Luc Melenchon, from which one of the perpetrators hails, one Pierre-Alain Cottineau (see featured image). Some tweets —

Translation: Pierre-Alain Cottineau, LFI candidate and local figure of the associative left, is accused of having raped a handicapped 4-year-old child, with acts of torture and barbarity. Here we see him marching “against the RN” (Marine Le Pen’s party) with an LGBT flag. He was the president of an LGBT association that worked in schools. The precautionary principle to adopt when faced with all these associations: do not let any of these big pigs approach children.

But what about the others? There is a network out there, likely a vast one. The report below is disappointingly lacking. Most of the reporting seems to focus on just one person, low-hanging fruit.

Darknet, 5-month-old babies raped and ex-LFI : A dismantled paedocriminal network

An organized paedocriminal network was dismantled after months of’ investigation. The suspects, including Pierre-Alain Cottineau, are accused of gang rape and torture of babies and children, some only 5 months old.

An unspeakably monstrous case has just come to light, revealing the existence of an organized paedophile network whose activities are beyond comprehension.

Five individuals have been arrested since the beginning of the year as part of an exceptionally wide-ranging judicial investigation, led by the Office des mineurs (OFMIN) of the Judicial Police. These men are suspected of having taken part in gang rapes, acts of torture and barbaric abuse of infants, some of whom were only a few months old. A judicial inquiry has been opened at the Nantes court, where the investigation is continuing to dismantle the entire network.

The Darknet, a hunting ground for predators

The investigation began in September 2024, when images and videos of unspeakable violence were spotted on the Darknet. The content showed babies and very young children, aged between 5 months and 4 years, being sexually assaulted and tortured. Confronted with an opaque and organized network, the investigators had to start from scratch to trace the criminals. Using specialized investigative techniques, they were able to cross-reference clues and identify several suspects, including a central figure at the head of this sordid network.

An organized «club of pedocriminality»

Investigations revealed the existence of a veritable “paedophile club”, where men with no apparent connection met to commit heinous crimes. These individuals organized weekends, or even entire weeks, during which they sexually abused babies and children. According to sources close to the case, the youngest victim was barely 5 months old, while the oldest was 4 years old. “We’ve seen cases of paedophile criminality before, but always in a family setting. This is unprecedented: these men didn’t know each other, but shared a common criminal obsession”, explains an expert in the case.

Unsuspected suspects

The profile of the suspects is intriguing: of the five men arrested, four were unknown to the police and the justice system. All under the age of 40, they were apparently living beyond suspicion, without even a history of petty crime. “No previous record, not even a speeding ticket”, says a police source. To escape surveillance, these predators used sophisticated methods: rented accommodation out of sight, encrypted applications to communicate, and digital SIM cards (e-sim) to cover their tracks.

Among the suspects is Pierre-Alain Cottineau, a former LFI candidate and pro-LGBT activist, already known for sexually assaulting a 4-year-old disabled child. According to the investigation, he occupied a central position in this pedophile network, organizing filmed “orgies” with babies and very young children. These shocking revelations raise questions about the true scale of this network and how to prevent such crimes in the future.
