France, Egypt and Jordan late Monday jointly demanded a “permanent” and “unconditional” cease-fire in Gaza and for a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian crisis.
In a joint Le Monde opinion piece, French President Emmanuel Macron, his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Jordan’s King Abdullah II call for an end to “the war in Gaza and the catastrophic human suffering it causes.”

Nasty noise. What “solution” ?
This country belongs to the Palestinian People.
History didn’t start on October 7th, 2023. It started 100 years ago when UK targeted the Middle East. It spiked in 1948 when Palestinians were butchered en masse to steal their homeland. It continued unabated till the week before October 7th with Israel’s routine killing of hundreds of Palestinians in West Bank and Gaza. The UN resolution forgets to mention the thousands of true hostages in Israeli military prisons, detained without charge, without appeal. It omits to mention that an occupying power has no legal right to make WAR on the people it occupies. It omits to mention that Netanyahu himself built Hamas to divide the Palestinians and prevent a two-state solution. It omits to mention that the UN’s recognition of Israel in 1948 was illegal. And on and on. A two-state solution will not stop Israel from warring on Palestine, it already makes war on its national neighbors. The solution is to revoke the statehood of Israel.
