Candace Owens Reacts to a Threatening Letter from the Macrons [VIDEO]

ER Editor:  Candace Owens has received a ‘strongly-worded’ 100-page (one hundred) letter received on a process server, coming from a law firm representing Macron and his ‘wife’ dated December 3, 2024. She was told not to share it. Here’s Candace’s summary of the letter (our notes):

• Owens is allegedly engaging in types of defamation
• The letter addresses statements she made last March and June
• Whether or not BM is a man or woman is nobody’s business
• Brigitte Macron owes nobody any proof of her gender
• Owens is engaging in defamation, implying to French people that they are fraudulent and lie

Owens’ comment: this is such a European letter – do they have any idea of what free speech is? (We can say ‘no, they don’t’ from living here.) The Macrons appear to think that they should not be subject to public scrutiny. If Brigitte Macron says that something isn’t true, then that should be proof enough. So that’s how a court of law works: if I say no, that is sufficient proof. ‘Trust me, Bro’.

Further,

• Owens is engaging in ‘yellow journalism’ for posing in a parody T-shirt showing Time Magazine with Brigitte on the cover as Man of the Year (what? nobody has ever made fun of Trump on a T-shirt or Kamala?)
• France does not have a statutory rape law, so Macron wasn’t ‘raped’ at age 15. At age 15, you can consent in France. (Owens notes that the age of 17 was historically given as the relevant, making it seem like it was ‘almost legal’.) The legacy media narrative around such details has changed over time. Owens: the age of consent at that time was 15, but only if the person they had sex with did not have a form of control or power over them, and French law is still like this. So it wouldn’t have been allowed in law at that time.
• They sent with the letter photos of Macron’s inauguration from a Youtube video that is 8 years old, allegedly showing Brigitte’s male brother – Jean-Michel Trogneux –  in the background. Ergo, that is the real brother, so Brigitte could not assume his identity, she could not be the actual Jean-Michel. That, as Owens notes, is the level of refutation they are giving of the claim against Brigitte, not a press conference for example showing concrete proof such as the brother himself. The man in the video does have a name which Owens is not yet prepared to reveal.
• They objected to the Olympics Games being called Satanic. Archbishop Vigano has made similar claims about Brigitte but hasn’t received a letter!
• Owens: Are you out of your mind, implying that people cannot call a president and his wife dishonest, or is it really that bad in France? You have to lie to be in politics, it’s a requirement.
• Timing: this letter targets Owens at least 6 months after the offending statements were made, which is curious.

Owens’ theory about why they sent this letter: she is just a couple of weeks away from revealing something explosive about Brigitte, including an interview. She believes this letter is to intimidate her. She says she was contacted at the end of November by a French reporter claiming to have a trove of evidence showing Brigitte lived as Jean-Michel Trogneux before transitioning, including names of doctors and who was the real mother of Brigitte’s children. Owens flew to France to do the interview with the journalist; this letter from the Macrons to her was dated Dec. 3 leading her to believe the journalist’s communications were being intercepted. The letter threatened her with the Tucker Carlson / Dominion situation (we’re not sure what this is).

The actual claims at the nucleus of the case against Brigitte are never addressed by them. Their strategy is simply to wait for journalists to slip up and then sue them for that mistake. They’ve done the same thing with her, she claims, for attributing actions to someone that were ultimately false. Owens will happily address this in her upcoming piece, as well as send a list of questions to their lawyers that deserve correct answers.

Candace makes the crucial point that this type of story can be stifled as long as it remains within France, because reporters can be shut up. This is fair comment, we feel, and this is the power that Owens has living outside of France. If this type of reporting were left up to the French, it would never fully come out.

Whoa! Owens then reveals she is looking into friends of theirs and their pedophilic scandals. And this is key: this is where all this should go. France has likely been a cesspool of pedophilia and SRA as much as any country. She names several high-profile French worthy of investigation in this regard.

Owens will publish her upcoming piece on her own website in both languages.

Kudos to Candace. This country needs exposure, which can only come effectively from the outside.
