Are these student protests orchestrated? To what end?

ER Editor: We can’t claim to have any more knowledge of those student protests than anyone else. But it’s like the whole 60’s protest scenario is being played out, imported as it were, to make a point. And universities that were famous for those protests back in the 60’s, such as Columbia and Sciences Po (this is a prestigious program) in Paris, Lille and elsewhere in France, are being instrumentalized to make that point. But what point or points?

We feel there might be 5D chess going on here given the tranches of people on social media who are reacting very differently.  Such as:

a) it’s Soros funding this (he’s gone and his funding has likely been defanged) and infiltrated;

b) they’re all anti-semites and/or pro-Hamas (predictable – see good old Ezra Levant’s link called ‘deport Hamas‘);

c) they’re keeping the nasty Gaza stuff in the public eye (evidently), inflaming people against the Zionist agenda;

d) the heavy police response evokes a police state, raising ire against the Biden/other government(s). Any other options? To create so much public disorder that the military step in? And …? There’s a next phase here, but we’re not good at reading the tea leaves.

Michael Shellenberger (who has suddenly become a high-profile voice) gives a complex take (specific link) on what constitutes free, protected speech around this issue, where both sides (pro-Palestinian and pro-Israel) get critiqued, especially lawmakers who want pro-Palestinian voices silenced on the pretext of ‘anti-semitism’. Are we watching a real-time drama around actual free speech play out, which never could happen in the Covid / Great Reset world? Shellenberger’s breakdown seems somewhat aimed towards those who want to silence criticism of Israel through policy and legislation, although he does aim at balance in his comments.

Is this all another chipping away at the Zionist agenda, opening up the free speech debate?:

We don’t necessarily agree with Celia Farber‘s own interpretations, but she’s usually reliable at sniffing out fake scenarios.

An Exclusive Report From An Observant Friend, On The Ground At Columbia U Last Night For The Truth Barrier: “The Whole Thing Is Staged”

“The Kids Are Pretending To Be 1968ers and the NYPD is pretending to be NYPD.”

This report represents the observations from the ground of a native New Yorker, and good friend of mine. He would like to use the reporter’s nom de plume of Nick Smith. I hope he will continue to report for us.

Yes, these protests are fake.

The dead children in Gaza, of course, are not.

Are the protests helping the victims of the slaughter in Gaza?

I doubt it.

Are they helping anything?

Nothing false can ever lead to anything good, basically.

Tweet about Soros’ funding of protests, and the nauseating ironies entailed.

Coda:

“If you think about doing something, and then notice someone ridiculous is already doing it, absurdly, you probably won’t do it. It is an effective way to upstage real protest and to characterize any protest that happens. “Oh it’s just the terrorist-loving college fools again.” When the protests are real, you’ll know because they’ll trample them, gas them, debank them, jail them forever without trials, etc., like 1/6ers and the Canadian trucker protestors.

“The level of military equipment local police have is kind of alarming.”

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
