ER Editor: It’s Ramadan and we’re watching ‘cultural’ events coming out of the UK, some of which seem highly constructed. We don’t know if this is one of those, but it does seem likely from what we’ve found.
In one report we published this past week, a female police officer gently instructs a group of Muslim men as to everybody’s free speech right on camera (it’s a masterclass), and in another, a by-election curiously goes in favour of the Greens in a Pakistani-dominated area near Manchester, in which ‘family voting’ gets outed. Here we have a story where ‘community tensions’ start creating havoc in the school system, at one Sheffield school in particular. The Firvale School website shows just from its featured photographs a non-white population; it caters to students in the 11-16 age range. The problem is: according to this UK govt link, the school closed at the end of the last academic year, in the summer of 2025. This Ofsted report from 2024 into the school graded it as ‘requires improvement’. This school website page shows ‘up and coming events’ in 2026, however. Hmm. Is this reminiscent of Sandy Hook, where an event was staged at a long-closed school?
Interestingly, this 2018 Daily Mail report shows ‘culture-based’ violence in this school. Are we seeing a legitimate phenomenon get resurrected for public messaging? —

Sheffield has a distinct Pakistani/Muslim population, with this University of Sheffield report giving us a figure of 10.3% who report themselves Muslim; the particular area of Sheffield in which this school is located, Burngreave, is known as a predominantly Muslim area.
Below that is the Daily Mail report on a disturbing UK school trend, allegedly coming from TikTok and other social media. And it’s Ramadan.

Violent Mass School Fight Which Left Teacher in Hospital and Injured Staff Was Caused by “Community Tensions”
WILL JONES for DAILY SCEPTIC

Several staff members and students were injured and South Yorkshire Police said a member of staff was sent to hospital with wounds that were not life-threatening.
In a letter sent to parents yesterday afternoon, the school described the incident as having stemmed from “community tensions spilling over onto school grounds”.
The academy school is in the inner-city Burngreave district of Sheffield.
Pupils were able to leave the premises safely at the end of the school day as there was no evidence of weapons being used. …
The new letter, published on the school’s website and signed by Principal Danny Bullock, reads: “Dear Parents and Carers, You will be aware of a serious incident at school this morning which resulted in the police being called. Whilst taking place within school, the incident stemmed from recent community tensions.
“I would like to thank staff and the majority of students who were not involved for their calmness and responsibility during what was an unsettling event.
“We will be doing everything within our power to ensure that those responsible for the incident are dealt with effectively by the Police and the relevant authorities. We are clear that the school is not the appropriate forum for community tensions to be addressed and the school should be a place of respect, learning and stability.
“Behaviour of this nature will not be tolerated and the school will be taking swift, strong and decisive action around this.
“We are proud to serve a number of communities within the school but we will not allow tensions from outside to impact on the day to day running of the school.
“Please be assured that we are taking this incident extremely seriously and we will be working with those across the community to ensure it does not recur.
“The academy will be open as normal tomorrow and we look forward to welcoming students who represent the values of our academy.” …
The latest census in 2021 showed the Burngreave ward had 8,396 people identifying as Christian, 12,692 as Muslim, 271 as other religions and 4,261 with no religion.

Stop Press: It isn’t just in Sheffield. The Mail reports that schools across the country were closed early amid fears that a TikTok trend will set off mass brawls between rival schools.

Schools finish early with police outside gates as ‘School Wars’ TikTok trend inspired by notorious LA street gangs Bloods and Crips encourages armed brawls with rival pupils told to arm themselves with scissors
SAM LAWLEY for THE DAILY MAIL
Schools are finishing early with police lined up outside the gates amid a ‘School Wars’ TikTok trend encouraging armed brawls with rival pupils told to arm themselves with scissors.
Parents and carers across London were on Friday told to make sure their children head straight home at the end of the school day and avoid large groups of people with police braced for violent interactions.
Posters inspired by notorious LA street gangs the Bloods and the Crips featuring men in red and blue balaclavas and listing which schools fall under which ‘side’ have been circulating on Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram all week.
Hackney, Islington, Redbridge and Croydon are among the boroughs included in the ‘Red vs Blue’ fights, with 26 schools in total listed and split into teams, but parents from other parts of the capital have also reported similar posts.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
