Turning Canada’s Most Woke Province Back to Reality

.

ER Editor: It’s a place we know very well indeed. Canada’s province of British Columbia, particularly the beautiful city of Vancouver, is arguably the most woke and crazy of all Canadian provinces. A relaxed place of naturally tolerant people living in an extraordinarily beautiful backdrop, it has succumbed to some of the worst globalist policies imaginable. From being a designated global city appointing Soros-style mayor(s), to out-of-control immigration, and years of hideous drug policy, drawing in some of the world’s worst drug cartels along the way, all paid for by the unassuming taxpayer, Vancouver and the province generally have careened into a brick wall. But we think other forces are at work.

The province has an election on October 19. Recently, its own Liberal party (Trudeau’s party and the traditional party of power in Canada), renamed the BC United party, suddenly collapsed and threw its weight behind the BC Conservatives. Remarkable. See —

Opposition party BC United collapses, won’t participate in October election campaign

British Columbia’s once dominant centre-right party has collapsed and its leader has withdrawn the BC United party from the next provincial election to instead endorse the BC Conservatives, a party that hasn’t formed government in the province since 1928.

Kevin Falcon, leader of the formerly named BC Liberal Party, made the announcement Wednesday alongside Conservative Leader John Rustad. Mr. Falcon two years ago ejected Mr. Rustad from his caucus because of Mr. Rustad’s views on climate change. Just this week, Mr. Falcon said Mr. Rustad led a party that was “at risk of becoming a conspiracy party, not a Conservative party.”

But on Wednesday, both leaders said the elimination of BC United was necessary to form a centre-right coalition aimed at defeating the governing BC NDP in the Oct. 19 vote. …

A sudden about-face by Liberal Kevin Falcon? Hmm.

That’s oddity number one. Number two is the NDP party (incumbents, globalist left) putting out an interview from June of this year showing Conservative leader John Rustad expressing his regrets about taking three Covid vaccines. With apparently the intention of shaming him. Suddenly, veteran political strategists don’t know how to gauge public reaction? Hmm.

Twitter reaction —

A cursory glance on Twitter shows Rustad working against several key globalist policies.

The province’s health director during the Covid period and apparently up to now, Dr. Bonnie Henry, mentioned below, is probably no longer around. EO 13818 should have taken care of her. This is some public reaction to her from February of this year —

And her endorsement of the ‘safe supply’ (‘kill people quickly’) drug policy —

And then she suddenly reversed the vaccine mandates and the public health emergency in July. Oddity number three.

“I’ve had three shots of the vaccine. I wish I hadn’t, quite frankly,” Rustad said.

“That’s one of the things that has changed in my thinking. The so-called vaccine, the COVID mRNA shots,” he said, recalling a conversation with B.C. Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry.

Rustad said the conversation with Henry left him feeling that something wasn’t “quite right.”

“When I talked to Bonnie Henry about it, I started to realize that it wasn’t so much about trying to get herd immunity or trying to stop the spread, but it was more around shaping opinion and control on the population,” Rustad said.

Henry became infamous in B.C. thanks to her vaccine policy which prevented unvaccinated health care workers from working for nearly three years.

Finally, in July of this year, Henry announced that the province is no longer in a public health emergency and is revoking all COVID regulations, including the vaccine mandate. (ER: Ah, Henry does an about-face. Hmm.)

In May, Henry’s mandate was challenged in court. The judge ruled that healthcare workers can still be mandated to receive the experimental COVID injections as a condition of employment, but decided that those working remotely are no longer bound by the unscientific rule.

Hundreds of British Columbia healthcare workers are still suing Henry over the mandate which prevented them from working.

While Rustad’s comments condemning Henry were made during a July 23 interview with the B.C. Public Service Employees for Freedom, which opposes vaccine mandates, the resurfacing of the footage by the NDP ahead of the provincial election this fall seems to suggest the far-left party assumed Rustad’s comments would paint him in a bad light.

However, the video seems to have had the opposite effect, as many online pointed to the video as a reason to vote for Rustad.

” Y’all don’t realize this will help Rustad’s campaign lol,” pro-freedom nurse Amy Hamm commented

“This isn’t the win you think it is,” another wrote. “Lots of people regret getting the #Covid_19 ‘vaccines.’ They prevented neither infection nor transmission and your ‘vaccine’ did not ‘keep others safe’ no matter how much you want to believe it.”

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)

  1. As a person who walked away from a job after being told it’s the jab or no job I find this politician to be a phoney who is trying to distance himself from the part he played in the scamdemic in order to keep his publicly funded job.
There were plenty of red flags to heed right from the get-go and yet only now he changes tune?
