ER Editor: Why should we care what Trump says about Netanyahu? Probably quite a lot, not least because Trump has been accused over time of being a Zionist and fervent supporter of Israel. Seasoned observers will know that Trump speaks in code and often says things that are both flattering and utterly misleading. He’s known to keep his enemies very close to him as a matter of strategy. Now, he’s publicly flipped.
It seemed pretty obvious to us that the entity of Israel and all the baggage that goes with it was being set up for controlled demolition on Oct. 7, 2024, when Gazan paragliders were photographed (allegedly) sailing over their prison wall into the Israeli side. We’re saving Israel for last.

In Trump’s interview with Time Magazine, he heavily criticized Netanyahu and his handling of October 7th, claiming that Netanyahu had all the equipment and capability to stop the attack.

Trump said,
“They (Israel) have the most sophisticated equipment. They had — everything was there to stop that. And a lot of people knew about it, you know, thousands and thousands of people knew about it, but Israel didn’t know about it, and I think he’s (Netanyahu) being blamed for that very strongly, being blamed.”
Israel supposedly have some of the best intelligence on the planet, the most secure border on the planet, they were warned by multiple allies of the upcoming attack, and still, they allowed it to happen.
Trump recognizes this and is rightfully calling it out. This also blasts a gaping hole in the false narrative that Trump is subservient to Israel. Trump just indirectly accused Netanyahu of allowing a terrorist attack to happen to his own people…
Perhaps this will win Trump some support with the Left and younger voters as well, as the only current candidate willing to criticize Israel.
