The Pendulum, the Story, and the Power of the People

.

ER Editor: Many thanks to Dutch colleague Michel van der Kemp for this. The overall message of this piece aligns with our current research on ascension of planet Earth into the fifth density from the third, a 1 in 26,000 year change that we are apparently undergoing right now. The future, our future as a species, will hinge on our ability to create what we want and to practice ‘interbeing’.

The Pendulum, the Story, and the Power of the People

MICHEL VAN DER KEMP

Many people who were drawn to the Q movement felt a spark of recognition: the sense that something is deeply wrong with the world, that hidden powers shape events, and that the surface story we are told is not the whole truth. For many, this hunger for truth drew them into the Q movement, where cryptic messages offered hope that powerful forces were working behind the scenes to restore balance.

This hunger for truth is not a weakness. It is one of humanity’s deepest strengths. But perhaps the next step is not to keep waiting for “the military to step in,” but to realize: we ourselves are the ones capable of creating the world we long for.

Jung’s Pendulum: Safety and Control vs. Freedom and Truth

The psychologist Carl Jung observed that history moves like a pendulum. When humanity swings too far in one direction, collective forces eventually push it back.

  • On one side of the pendulum is safety and control: order, authority, and the promise of protection — but often at the cost of freedom.
  • On the other side is freedom and truth: breaking illusions, reclaiming power, speaking honestly — but often at the cost of stability.

We saw this swing during the pandemic: some clung to safety and control at any price, while others resisted, searching for truth and freedom. This tension is not new — it is an ancient rhythm of history.

But Jung also taught that the psyche cannot endure imbalance forever. Over time, it seeks a middle place, where safety and freedom, order and responsibility, can meet in balance.

Eisenstein’s Story of Interbeing

In The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible, Charles Eisenstein calls this emerging vision the “Story of Interbeing.” To see what is new, we must first understand the old story we’ve been living in:

The Story of Separation:

  • I am separate from you.
  • Humans are separate from nature.
  • My gain must come at your loss.
  • Security comes from control.

This story gave us scientific progress and material power, but it also brought loneliness, polarization, and distrust.

The Story of Interbeing says something different:

  • My well-being is tied to your well-being.

  • Humanity is part of nature, not apart from it.

  • What I do ripples out to the whole.

  • Security comes from relationship, not control.

You may already have felt moments of Interbeing:

  • When strangers lock eyes in recognition of truth.
  • When communities come together after disaster.
  • When honesty inspires courage in others.

These moments remind us: we are not separate. We are part of something larger. And that story is now breaking through the cracks of the old system.

From Waiting to Participating

Here’s where the Q movement and the Story of Interbeing connect. Q asked people to “trust the plan.” But what if the real plan was never hidden in secret drops? What if the plan is what we choose to live together — now?

  • Instead of waiting for “them” to fix the world, we can embody truth in our own lives.
  • Instead of dividing endlessly into “good guys” and “bad guys,” we can remember that even our opponents are caught in the same story of separation.
  • Instead of living in fear, we can build islands of the new story — communities, relationships, projects — where Interbeing becomes real.

A Message of Hope

The pendulum is swinging. The old systems of control are straining, and new possibilities are breaking through. The question is not whether change will come — it always does. The question is whether we will be passive spectators, waiting for heroes, or active participants in writing the next story of humanity.

The hopeful truth is this: we don’t need to wait. We are the plan. Every act of truth-telling, every moment of courage, every choice to connect instead of divide is already part of the Story of Interbeing. We are not waiting for prophecy to unfold; in living truth and love, we participate in its fulfillment.

And this aligns with what Donald Trump said in his inaugural address: “We are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people.” The pendulum will not stay stuck forever. Its next movement depends on us.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
