Romanians Protest The State of Their Country

ER Editor: We’re going to let the tweets below speak for themselves. The story about Romanians out protesting yesterday, March 1, was picked up by certain media outlets, predictably calling Romanian citizens who actually want free and fair elections ‘far-right’. See here and here.

Celia Farber of The Truth Barrier gives us a perspective on all this and what it means, implying that the fall of the Berlin Wall and the ‘end of Communism’ was all a globalist scam back then —

Watching these clips filled my eyes with tears. I was in Romania during the collapse of communism, after the Ceaucescus were killed. I was there in the fall of 1990.

The Romanians were deprived of their rightful liberation after so many years of tyranny, as the corrupt Illiescu regime overtook the power vacuum left by the assassinated Ceaucescus.

 

The Romanian people are incredible, and this is their birth moment. The fight for freedom from the new “Iron Curtain” in Eastern Europe (imposed by the blue-hued communist EU) is on. This all feels so very much like 1989.

The far-right opposition filed the no-confidence motion this week, accusing the government of lacking legitimacy, corruption, and incompetence in managing the economy and European funds. Additionally, the motion referred to the Nordis real estate scandal, as the prime minister and several government members are suspected of having ties to the businessmen involved in a multi-million-euro fraud scheme.

The motion required the support of at least 233 deputies and senators; it received 147.
