Romania sets new election date, with an even bigger result for Georgescu?

.

ER Editor: An update on the Romanian election situation. Anti-globalist Calin Georgescu did indeed win the first round of the presidentials in November, which then got abruptly cancelled leaving the second round up in the air. Outrage and shock then ensued. Russian interference via TikTok was merely an excuse. Georgescu appealed Romania’s Constitutional Court’s decision to annul the elections but lost. Now, it’s all been rescheduled for two dates in May, and Georgescu’s popularity is growing. There’s still the pending investigation into his funding, however.

So who’s really behind this? Incompetent ‘bad’ guys who are fuelling Georgescu’s popularity, or someone else fuelling Georgescu’s popularity?

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
