President Trump targets Presidio Trust in new executive order

.

ER Editor: Wikipedia describes the Presidio area of land in the San Francisco Bay area thus, which has an adjacent area of very expensive real estate that the likes of Democrats Dianne Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi, among many other ‘elites’, once owned (EO 13818 against corruption and crimes against humanity would have kicked in in both their cases) —

The Presidio of San Francisco (originally, El Presidio Real de San Francisco or The Royal Fortress of Saint Francis) is a park and former U.S. Army post on the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula in San FranciscoCalifornia, and is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

This article, cited from below, is a particularly disturbing account of quite out-in-the-open child sexual abuse and ritualized abuse at the daycare centre on the Presidio site going on through the ’80s, cases which, despite complaints from articulate, professional parents, were either covered up or minimized.

Other Army bases such as West Point also had the same problem, with no real action taken against known perpetrators except to give them a slap on the wrist. Similar problems were also reported at Navy and Air Force bases. At Presidio, between 300 and 500 children claimed some sort of abuse:

The Department of Defense decided in April 1987 to form special strike teams to investigate sex abuse cases in the military. The goal of the teams “is to not let things get any worse,” says Bob Stein, director of the Military Family Resource Center at the Department of Defense. “We need to be better prepared to deal with the magnitude of the problem. I don’t think anybody was prepared” at the Presidio or West Point.

Despite the military’s official stance of preparedness, a new horror surfaced in June 1988 when a special team of experts was sent to Panama to help determine if as many as 10 children at a Department of Defense elementary school had been molested and possibly infected with AIDS by a teacher who is dying of the disease.

Although the allegations of ritual abuse made by children at West Point and at the Presidio were similar, “we may never totally resolve whether there is any kind of external organization [of abusers] or if just a single pedophile” was involved in those cases, said Col. Jim Schlie, deputy director of the Military Family Resource Center.

But some of the allegations made by children at the Presidio, that they were taken to houses on – and off-post by men and women–led to investigation of the possibility that there was an “external organization” in San Francisco.

..

Albanoski and another MP were given approval to set up surveillance of the shack. After a while, the investigation was called off. We were sitting there, we’ve got a cult on the Presidio of San Francisco and nobody cares about it,” Albanoski says. “We were told by the provost marshall to just forget about it”. Though Albanoski’s investigation went nowhere, the child abuse cases would raise the specter of satanism again.

The article goes on to detail the military career of Lt. Colonel Michael Aquino, an openly practicing Satanist and founder of his own Satanic cult, that the military had turned a blind eye to. Evidence of abuse at the Presidio daycare centre led investigators to his San Francisco house. See the full report here —

President Trump targets Presidio Trust in executive order

ER: 2nd title given to this piece —

MATTHEW TOM for SFGATE

The Presidio Trust, one of the agencies tasked with overseeing the 1,500-acre San Francisco park, has become the latest target of the Trump administration in its quest to reduce “the scope of the federal bureaucracy.”

An executive order signed by President Donald Trump on Wednesday evening calls for the elimination of all spending and personnel at the Presidio Trust that is not required by law. The order, titled “Commencing the Reduction of Federal Bureaucracy” on the White House website, also includes the Inter-American Foundation, the United States African Development Foundation, and the United States Institute of Peace.

The order requires “the head of each unnecessary governmental entity” to report to the director of the Office of Management and Budget within 14 days to confirm compliance with the order, which was signed Wednesday, putting the deadline at March 5.

State Sen. Scott Wiener, who represents San Francisco and is a former member of the Board of Supervisors, reacted to the news of the executive order on X:

“Trump is now trying to kill off the Presidio Trust in SF — a national treasure that’s transformed the Presidio into a self-sustaining, world-class park,” Wiener wrote. “Trump is so vile that he can’t tolerate success if it doesn’t benefit him personally.

“This move is illegal. We won’t go quietly.”

‘Tragic mistake’: Bay Area leaders slam Trump executive order targeting SF site

Trump executive order targets San Francisco treasure Presidio Trust

MATTHEW TOM & SILAS VALENTINO

LATEST Feb. 20, 11:40 a.m. The Trump administration hit one of the agencies tasked with overseeing San Francisco’s Presidio, the Presidio Trust, with an executive order Wednesday, labeling it an “unnecessary governmental entity.” The agency released a statement Thursday defending itself against possible elimination.

“The Presidio Trust has not received regular annual appropriations from Congress since 2013, instead relying on the funds earned by leasing the historic buildings that the Trust has renovated,” wrote Presidio Trust spokesperson Lisa Petrie in response to the executive order calling to eliminate “non-statutory components and functions” performed by the agency. “We will present a report on our activities to the Office of Management and Budget, as required by the order, in two weeks. We are confident that our activities are all statutorily-based.”

Bay Area political leaders have started rallying behind the trust, namely the agency’s original sponsor, Rep. Nancy Pelosi. “The Presidio Trust is statutory, and it has been protected from assaults over time by its statutory strength,” Pelosi wrote online. “We will be carefully reviewing the language of the President’s executive order and its purpose.”

Jim Wunderman, CEO of the Bay Area Council, a regional business advocacy group, called the Presidio Trust a national model for how government and the private sector can collaborate and pleaded with President Donald Trump to reconsider the executive order in a statement shared with SFGATE.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
