Pollution of the Seine: Scientific tests against Macronian propaganda

Water pollution, especially faecal matter, is measured by the number of CFUs (“Colony-forming unit”) of “Escherichia coli” bacteria (“E.coli” for short) per volume of 100 ml of water. Most E. coli are harmless, but some serotypes can be pathogenic, causing gastroenteritis, urinary tract infections, and in severe cases, meningitis or septicemia.

In France, bathing is not recommended at 1000 UFC of E.coli/100 ml, and water is declared drinkable only if no bacterium is detected (number of UFC of E.coli/100ml = 0).

A French startup called Fluidion, specializing in the measurement of water pollution, analyzes daily the pollution of the Seine. Its conclusions are public and can be consulted here.

The results of the tests show two types of measurements for the number of UFC of E.coli/100 ml :

– Sampling « Planktonic » : measurement of bacteria floating freely.
– Sampling « Global » : measurement integrating the particles of fecal or sedimentary matter.

The controversy between official discourse and scientific measures lies in the important differences between these two types of measures.

On July 31, the day of the first triathlon event, Fluidion measured:

1. Pollution « Planktonic » : between 516 and 867 CFU of E.coli/100ml, with an average of 666 CFU, below the limit of 1000 CFU set for swimming in the Seine. This allowed the authorities to announce that the triathlon could be held as planned.

2. Pollution « Global » : between 1518 and 3538 UFC of E.coli/100ml, with an average of 2203 UFC.

This means that the triathletes swam in the Seine and swallowed its water, which was on average 2.2 times more polluted than the maximum allowed limit, with pollution peaks 3.5 times higher than this limit.

It is irresponsible and outrageous that President Macron, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) organised the triathlon in the Seine, by providing athletes with truncated and knowingly fraudulent information on the scientific tests carried out daily.

Translation: This is what athletes have to swim in, “a current of shit dumped into the Seine.” How can the IOC let such a thing happen!

The degree of lying reached a climax on Monday, August 5th: Minister Oudea-Castera, the IOC and all the coaches claimed with a single voice that there were no ill athletes, he said, that the sick Belgian or Swiss sportsmen were starving, or were sick before the competition, and that, in short, everything was fine. Fabien Lacote, the physiotherapist of the French team, even went so far as to launch : « L’eau is perfect » ! (ER: The water is perfect)

It is true that there is a lot of money at stake behind each competition. The sponsors are exerting a colossal pressure to ensure that the competition that’s subsidized takes place at all costs, at all costs, even if it must cause gastroenteritis or infections more or less dangerous in athletes.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
