ER Editor: France is currently having its local elections nationwide. Two or three German states are having theirs this month, too, with two more in September (out of a total of 16 states). A reminder that CDU is the globalist-right party of Merkel; AfD is the populist right; SPD the globalist-left. The state of Hesse(n) includes the major city of Frankfurt.
As reporting below indicates, the voteshare for the AfD in this German state has jumped from around 7% to approximately 16%.

A reminder of local elections in neighbouring Baden-Wurttemberg (south-east of Hesse) from a week ago, in which the AfD went from just under 10% previously to almost 19% —

Local elections in Hesse: CDU strongest force, AfD gains significantly, Greens and SPD lose

Compared to the last local elections, the balance of power has shifted noticeably.
The biggest winner of election night is the AfD, which previously received only 6.8 percent. The CDU also improved slightly. The SPD and the Greens lost the most. In the last election, the SPD received 24 percent and the Greens 18.4 percent.
In Frankfurt and Wiesbaden the CDU is ahead, in Darmstadt and Kassel the Greens are leading. Meanwhile, the SPD was able to maintain its stronghold in Offenbach. At the same time, there were clear outliers in favor of the AfD in the province: In Büdingen, Erlensee and Biebesheim, it is ahead according to the first trend figures. In the mayoral elections in Hanau, SPD candidate Maximilian Bieri narrowly missed direct victory with 48.1 percent and now has to go into the runoff against the CDU candidate.
In view of the CDU’s successes, Prime Minister Boris Rhein draws an overall positive conclusion and sees his party as „the number one local party“. AfD state spokespersons Robert Lambrou and Andreas Lichert see the preliminary figures as a „very good result“ given the gain. The municipal representatives in districts, cities and municipalities, i.e. district councils, city councils and municipal councils, were elected.
However, unlike in federal or state elections, the figures currently available are not a preliminary final result, but a trend result. For this purpose, only the ballot papers with a simple list cross will be evaluated first. Ballot papers on which voters distribute or accumulate their votes among individual candidates or across multiple lists –so-called cumulation and panachage– are only fully recorded later. The current picture is therefore still subject to reservation.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
