From Conflict to Cheers: Armenia and Azerbaijan Make Peace

.

ER Editor: This is kind of historic given their longstanding conflict. We are not sure of the agendas behind this, but wonder if Armenia being the historical home to Druze Christians has something to do with this. Was the Greater Israel plan an attempt to wipe out Druze Christians in the region, we wonder. Readers may be aware that JFK (really John Kahlooni, not a Kennedy) was from the Druze Christian lineage.

And/or is it a bringing under control of Armenia given that its Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, was apparently a George Soros lackey? Would he have been replaced by now? Here’s a piece from March 2024, with Lavrov sounding the alarm over this PM —

Lavrov Says Pashinyan Was ‘Connected to Soros’

In what can be seen as further escalation between Yerevan (ER: capital of Armenia) and Russia, the Russian foreign minister said that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was connected to the Soros Foundation, with his aim being to distance Armenia from Russia-led alliances.

When Nikol Pashinyan was in the opposition and was leading the movement he created—which everyone knew was connected to the Soros Foundation—the slogan of his movement was ‘Exit’: exit the CSTO and the Eurasian Economic Union. With this slogan, he brought crowds to the streets, demanded his election as prime minister (at the time the prime minister is elected by the parliament), while announcing that if he weren’t elected he will he will make the people stand up,” Lavrov said in an interview with Russian Izvestia daily newsspaer, adding that “this was democracy at its best display.”

Such an overt attack on Pashinyan is unprecedented from the Russian leaders, who have expressed dismay at Pashinyan and his government’s policies of courting the West.

It sounds like Trump has neutralized this regional deep state powerbase, which has been hostile (and then some) to Russia.

A geography reminder —

The so-called ‘white hat’ agenda at work?

Is Nikol Pashinyan a 2.0 by now?

From Conflict to Cheers: Armenia and Azerbaijan Make Peace

Both countries’ leaders credited U.S. President Trump with brokering the deal and ending years of conflict.

“Armenia and Azerbaijan are committing to stop all fighting forever, open up commerce, travel and diplomatic relations and respect each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Trump said.

According to the White House,

The two leaders also signed bilateral economic agreements with the U.S., unlocking the great potential of the South Caucasus region in trade, transit, energy, infrastructure, and technology, and creating new opportunities for the American people and American businesses.

In addition, the U.S. president announced that he was lifting restrictions on military cooperation with Azerbaijan.

NATO on Saturday hailed the signing of a U.S.-brokered peace deal as a “significant step forward” in ending decades of conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy also congratulated both countries “on the bold steps taken in Washington.”

Meanwhile, Iran’s foreign ministry welcomed the peace deal but cautioned against foreign intervention, following the agreement that granted Washington development rights near the Iranian border.

The accord, which ended the long-running feud between the two countries, includes the creation of a transit corridor through Armenia to connect Azerbaijan to its exclave of Nakhchivan—a longstanding demand of Baku.

The U.S. will have development rights for the corridor—dubbed the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity”—in the strategic, resource-rich region.

The peace accord received an unexpected twist when Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev suggested sending a joint nomination alongside Armenia for Trump to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

“So maybe we agree with Prime Minister Pashinyan to send a joint appeal to the Nobel committee to award President Trump with the Nobel Peace Prize,” he said at the White House event.

“I think President Trump deserves to have the Nobel Peace Prize and we will defend that, and we will promote that,” Pashinyan added.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
