ER Editor: The reporting we’re doing on the BC elections is an effort to understand what on earth is going on with our former Canadian province. The election was on the day the province got an atmospheric river of rain going through it, Saturday Oct 19. What are the odds?
To arrive at the election, the old Liberal party (Trudeau’s ilk) had mysteriously and suddenly collapsed, to be replaced by a revamped Conservative Party under John Rustad, that hadn’t held power in decades. What are the chances? Then the election produced a party difference of only one single seat between the globalist left, the NDP (46), and this new party (45), with the Greens holding 2 seats. What … ? More ballots are being counted with the final result expected around today, but there are even more strange reports coming out about this election.
A reminder that beautiful Vancouver is a full-on globalist city, that has been wrecked by insane drug policies, woke madness and heavy immigration. It is reminiscent of the far left madness seen in US states along the west coast – Washington state, Oregon and California.

Elections BC allowed staff to take ballots home during advanced voting week
What a S**tshow! Long text —
Did election fraud happen in BC? We are offering a $50,000 reward! If you have any creditable evidence or information that could help ensure the integrity of our electoral process, we encourage you to come forward. Your identity will remain anonymous. In light of serious concerns regarding the integrity of British Columbia’s recent election, it has become evident that the handling of ballots was marred by questionable practices of Elections BC and its employees which is overseen by Anton Boegman, the chief electoral officer. The management of advance and mail-in ballots from October 10th to 16th, and the subsequent counting period from October 26th to 28th, revealed numerous operational flaws that raise alarm about potential corruption. First, the practice of storing ballots at the homes of election officials, as admitted by Andrew Watson, Elections BC’s senior communications director, is an egregious lapse in administrative standards. … (CONTINUE)

🤬
The BC election needs to be re-done:In person voting only – no mail-in ballots, no telephone voting.
On a single day of voting only, and no off-site ballot storage at the homes of election officials.
Hand-counted only – no machines, tabulators, nothing.
Voter ID + finger… https://t.co/qdCsjF6i6x

BC Election🙃
They expect us to believe that it’s normal:
▶️For gov staff to take boxes of ballots home.
▶️To allow phone-in voting.
▶️To have people vouch for others that have no ID.
▶️To take over a week to count.
▶️To “find” thousands of ballots during that week.#bcpoli— Kris Eriksen 🇨🇦 (@KEriksenV2) October 27, 2024

BC election officials still need to count 65k ballots in virtual tie between Conservatives, NDP
In an election count update Thursday, Elections B.C. says it now estimates that ‘approximately 65,000 ballots will be counted as part of final count,’ which is significantly more than the original 45,000 estimate.
ANTHONY MURDOCH for LIFESITE NEWS
VICTORIA, British Columbia (LifeSiteNews) –– Election officials in the province of British Columbia now say there are 65,000 ballots yet to be counted, up from 45,000 following last Saturday’s election that has the Conservative Party and the reigning New Democratic Party in a virtual tie.
In an election count update Thursday, Elections B.C. says during its “screening process” it now estimates that “approximately 65,000 ballots will be counted as part of final count,” which is significantly more than the original 45,000 estimate.
According to Elections B.C., the “final count process for B.C.’s provincial election is scheduled to begin on October 26 and will conclude on October 28.”
Photo of the British Columbia LegislatureShutterstockIt is estimated that on October 27, the final mail-in- ballot counts will be complete. There are recounts underway in two ridings as well, which were remarkably close between the NDP and Conservatives.
Elections B.C. says the “final count” will involve three distinct processes, “counting mail-in ballots, counting absentee ballots, and recounts of ballots counted on election night.”
Final results will be made available on its social media channels and website.
As reported by LifeSiteNews, initial counts show the B.C. Conservatives under leader John Rustad with 45 seats, while the ruling NDP under Premier David Eby have 46 seats. A party needs 47 seats to form a majority government in the province. The Green Party appears to have won 2 seats, meaning should the seat count remain as is, the distant third party will effectively hold the balance of power.
Rustad won his seat easily, beating out his NDP rival with 68 percent of the vote. His win was the first time since 1978 that a Conservative has won a seat in the B.C. legislature.
It hasn’t been since 1991, the last year B.C. was ruled by the Social Credit Party under pro-life Premier Bill Vander Zalm, that the province has been under the control of parties other than the NDP or Liberals.
B.C.’s Conservative Party shot up in popularity after the former Liberal Party of the province, under its new name B.C. United, lagged in the polls. Then B.C. United decided shortly before the election to pull all its candidates and throw its support behind the Conservatives. (ER: Which is curious because true Conservatives are not federal Liberals.)
Rustad, a former Liberal MLA, also gained popularity for promising to restore order and oppose the woke policies popularized under the NDP.
As reported by LifeSiteNews, Rustad, just days before the election, condemned sexually explicit material in school libraries and indicated that he would remove them if elected.
Rustad has also come out in opposition to the use of often-sterilizing puberty blockers for gender-confused children and has condemned SOGI 123, a nationwide program pushing LGBT ideology in schools under the label of “inclusivity.”
At the same time, Rustad has an upsetting record for conservatives when it comes to important life and family issues, garnering an “F” rating by Campaign Life Coalition over his support for abortion and the continued public funding of the deadly practice.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
