Pope Francis to consecrate Russia and Ukraine to Immaculate Heart of Mary
We confess to being more than a little confused. According to the CNA piece above, Russia was already consecrated once before, as well as the rest of the world:
March 25 was the day in 1984 that Pope John Paul II consecrated Russia and the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It is also the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord.
So what happened? Didn’t this work the first time? How many times should a place be consecrated? So why this, why NOW? And Pope Francis being the arch-globalist, who’s on the Russia Hating side … We share the sentiment of Voltairenet below, who suspects this is a way to set Catholics against Russia.

Fast forward to 2022. Outwardly, it should have come as a surprise that the until recently side-lined Fatima matter suddenly became so urgent and central in the mind of the holy father. Why the rush to fast-track a ritual that for slightly over one hundred years has lain on the Vatican’s back burner without any visible prejudice to Russia, the Ukraine, or the rest of the world?
It does not take a rocket scientist to answer that question. There is no religious urgency whatsoever. The overwhelming majority of Christians in Russia and the Ukraine are Eastern Orthodox and Vatican, Roman Catholic mumbo-jumbo is not even on their radar. It does not concern or affect them in the least. A legitimate side question, of course, is what gives the Pope and the Vatican the right to “consecrate” millions of souls who are not even affiliated with them? Would it not be polite to at least ask for their consent? It is probably late at this point to organize a consecration referendum in the lucky candidate countries because March 25 is too close, but the sheer arrogance of designating subjects for religious ritual without their consent is indeed stunning. And typical, one is tempted to add.
There is just one coherent explanation for Bergoglio’s rush to “consecrate.” It is the currently raging Ukrainian crisis and the Vatican’s determination to demonstrate urbi et orbi its political alignment with the West’s general assault on Russia. It is a signal of the Vatican’s determination that at last, over a century later, the moment is finally ripe to openly join the collective, political West in extirpating “Russia’s errors,” and if possible annihilating Russia itself.
He goes on to make two other valuable points: Russia’s ‘errors’ in accepting Communism in 1917 are made up for by the fact that it no longer supports such a system; second, that it is the West’s errors, including NATO and the EU, that should be atoned for.

Voltairenet reminds us that the Orthodox Church has already been politically divided, with a Ukraine branch of the church being set up in Ukraine and recognized by a different patriarchy (that of Constantinople, not Moscow), thus weakening Russian authority in such matters.

The Straussians want to turn the Ukrainian conflict into a religious war

On the sidelines of the Sino-US summit in Rome on March 15, 2022, the United States exerted very strong pressure on the Holy See. They intend to transform the conflict in Ukraine into a religious war.
The Straussians [ 1 ] imagined, with Bernard Lewis under the presidency of George H. Bush (the father), to mobilize Muslims against Russia. This deliberate strategy was later presented by Lewis’s assistant, Samuel Huntington, as a fatality: the clash of civilizations.
However, this strategy, which was implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina, then in Chechnya, is ineffective in Ukraine where both camps are Christian. The Straussians therefore want to bring out the Catholic/Orthodox divide. To this end, they intend to reactivate the theology developed around the visions of Fatima.
During the thirties and the Second World War, the anti-Slavic and anti-Semitic “nationalist” Stepan Bandera was Uniate, that is to say Greek-Catholic: he celebrated an Orthodox rite while being affiliated with Rome.
Three years ago, the Straussians blew up the Ukrainian Orthodox Church by creating a Ukrainian Orthodox (autocephalous) Church, not recognized by the Patriarch of Moscow, but by that of Constantinople [ 2 ] .
In 1917, during the First World War and just after the Russian Revolution, three Portuguese seers (ER: Fatima is in Portugal) said they had received a message from the Virgin Mary. She would have said to them:
“You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wants to establish in the world the devotion of my Immaculate Heart. (…) The war will end, but if we continue to offend God, under the reign of Pius XI, an even worse one will begin. When you see a night illuminated by an unknown light, know that it is the great sign that God gives you that he is going to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine and persecutions against Church and the Holy Father. To prevent this, I will come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the reparatory communion of the first Saturdays of the month. If my requests are listened to, Russia will be converted and there will be peace; otherwise, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions against the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, several nations will be annihilated. In the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, which will convert, and the world will be given a certain time of peace.”
On March 24, 2022, President Joe Biden will come to Europe to preside over a special summit of heads of state and government of the Atlantic Alliance against Russia.
Pope Francis will consecrate Ukraine and Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary the following day, March 25 at 5 p.m. (12 p.m. Washington time; 6 p.m. Kyiv time; 7 p.m. Moscow time), according to the wishes of the Fatima seers. Russia will be presented, according to the Fatima message, as the troublemaker. Fighting against it will become a religious duty for Catholics.
Believers who participate in religious wars lose all ability to reason and show unparalleled determination and cruelty. For twenty years, the Muslim world has paid the price. The Christian world is preparing to follow him.
