ER Editor: Readers will know about the Alternative fur Deutschland party, supposedly ‘far right’ and especially popular in former East Germany. They did well in the recent European elections. BSW is a new left-wing party led by sensible Sahra Wagenknecht (hence the initials SW in the title), which obtained around 6% of the EU election voting. These results are given below. Both ‘extremist’ parties are against the war in Ukraine.

A reminder that Zelensky no longer has a mandate to do his job.
Translation: Opposition MPs in Germany boycotted Zelensky’s speech in the Bundestag. “We refuse to listen to the speaker in camouflage. Zelensky’s term has expired. Now he is in office only as a bellicose and begging president. But Ukraine does not need a military president now, she needs a peaceful president ready to negotiate so that the death stops and the country has a future,” said Alisa Weidel, chair of the Alternative for Germany faction.

Germany: AfD and BSW MPs boycott Zelensky’s speech in the Bundestag
RT France
In the lower house of the German Parliament, almost all of the deputies from the AfD and the BSW, a left-wing sovereignist party, boycotted Volodymyr Zelensky’s speech on June 11. He judged the progress, during the European elections, of parties with “radical pro-Russian slogans” to be “dangerous”.
“We refuse to listen to a speaker in camouflage clothing”: in a press release, the AfD explained its boycott of Volodymyr Zelensky’s speech on June 11 in the Bundestag.
Only four of the 77 deputies from the radical right party took their place on the benches of the hemicycle. “Ukraine does not need a war president, but a peace president,” continues the AfD.
Same story with the ten deputies of the BSW, a radical left party created at the beginning of the year by Sahra Wagenknecht, following a split with Die Linke, on a sovereignist and pacifist line. A party official told AFP they wanted to send “a sign of solidarity with all those Ukrainians who want an immediate ceasefire and a negotiated solution.”
Both German political parties were successful in the European elections, with the AfD coming in second place with 15.9% of the vote, behind the conservative CDU/CSU (30%) and ahead of Olaf Scholz’s Social Democratic Party (SPD) (14%). In its first-ever European election, the BSW came in fifth place with 6.2% of the vote.
The head of the Agency for the Reconstruction of Ukraine slams the door
A breakthrough that Volodymyr Zelensky criticized! “It is dangerous – not for Ukraine, because we are already in the most dangerous situation, we are at war – but radical pro-Russian slogans are dangerous for your countries,” he said at a press conference alongside the German chancellor.
The Ukrainian president took the opportunity to once again call on his allies to increase their military aid in air defense, indicating that Ukraine’s electricity production had been halved since winter due to Russian strikes.
Volodymyr Zelensky is visiting Berlin for a two-day conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine. Conference disrupted by the resignation of its president, also head of the Agency for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, Mustafa Nayyem. In a letter published on Facebook on June 10, he accused the Ukrainian government of undermining his work.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)

One of the latest Foreign Affairs articles again calls for more war and the expansion US military dominance across the globe with US “allies” (aka expendable satellites).
The Military-Industrial-Thinktank-Complex again at its worst is raising its ugly face in the hope to racking in more money for itself and the wars they want to commit while framing its insanity in terms of vertue and peace. When will we stop these sick monsters?
