ER Editor: The French go to the polls on Sunday April 10th for the first round of the presidential elections, the second round being held on the 24th. Macron recently declared his candidacy, and we can see below how popular he is. Probably the key question is, what role will Dominion Voting software play?

An unfavorable poll for Emmanuel Macron deleted by RTL?

Internet users, including politicians, claimed that an online survey proposed by RTL was deleted by the radio. It was indicated that 84% of those questioned did not want the re-election of Emmanuel Macron.

Journalist Aude Lancelin asked RTL for details. “Frankly, it would be serious to learn that this poll unfavorable to the great leader and general-in-chief of the armies Micron 1st has been deleted,” she says.

Did RTL voluntarily delete a March 4 poll against Emmanuel Macron? Several Internet users have reported the withdrawal of a study published on Twitter by the radio, revealing that 84% of respondents were against the re-election of the current tenant of the Elysée.

For lawyer François Couilbault, “the survey has been deleted”. “Disinformation has become the rule, as five years ago the media chose their candidate,” he adds. Politicians are also surprised, like the deputy Les Républicains (LR), Julien Aubert. “The 42,000 voters will appreciate RTL’s decision,” he quips.

LR vice-president of Grand-Est, Valérie Debord, asks RTL and tags AFP: “Why was this tweet deleted?”

“When 84% of respondents say they do not want Macron’s re-election, the poll is suddenly deleted by RTL! We wonder why”, confirms the president of the Patriots, Florian Philippot.

RTL has republished a new poll on its site. When this article was written, out of just over 20,500 voters, the result was even more unfavorable to Emmanuel Macron, with 91% of voters opposed to his re-election.

A similar poll, relating more specifically to the entry into the campaign of the current president, was carried out by Le Figaro. 90% of the 31,000 respondents say they were not convinced by Emmanuel Macron’s “Letter to the French”. (ER: This was a recent TV appearance he made.)

For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
